Our church just finished its annual Christmas pageant/play. It was great fun, but one of those events on your life that puts enough pressure on you and your family that you see what you're made of. Peyton and Caleb couldn't have been better during the process. It sure helped that we have family and friends who took time to take care of them and make sure they went to bed at normal times (the few times they did come to full performances they didn't get down till 10pm which is cccccrrrraaaaaazzzzyyyyy). Anyway, the last performance was a Sunday Matinee' and while Caleb slept and played at my parents, Peyton stayed at the church with us. This is how big Peyton has gotten. He never went into childcare. Didn't need to, first he was playing games on Andy's phone, but second he apparently has friends in some of the younger cast.
Andy in his costume monitoring Peyton.Peyton and the younger cast playing their video games. It was just a line of electronics.
Peyton on stage dressed as Captain America.
This was the closest Peyton would come to the actual Captain America in the play. Peyton was soooooo excited about it.
Captain America tried to get a fist bump out of Peyton, but he wasn't having it. Just left him hanging. Thanks to Paul May for being such a good sport.
